Healthy Body Healthy Mind

As part of the Impact of Alcohol ‘Healthy Body Healthy Mind’ project, Antrim New Horizons will be delivering a further three personal development programmes in the following locations:
• Larne Library, Thursday 10 September 2015, 10.00am-12.30pm
• Coleraine, West Bann Development, Killowen Court, Tuesday 15 September 2015, 10.00am-12.30pm
• Magherafelt Northern Regional College, Monday 5 October 2015, 10.-12.30pm

These programmes are to support individuals who are misusing alcohol, have mild-moderate mental health issues and are ready for change.

The programme is delivered 2½ hours per week over 12 weeks covering topics such as: impact of alcohol on physical and mental health, coping strategies, building confidence, impact of alcohol on our community, citizenship. Participants are not required to complete all topics as this is a flexible programme to suit individual needs.

This programme is free and participants can self-refer or be referred by community/voluntary/statutory agencies.
