Regional Trauma Network: Public Consultation

The Health and Social Care Board is consulting on the Regional Trauma Network’s New Service Delivery Model and Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) and is encouraging those with an interest in trauma services in Northern Ireland to take the opportunity to provide their views on the proposals.

An estimated 61% of adults living in Northern Ireland have experienced a traumatic event at some point in their lifetime and around 39% have experienced a Conflict/Troubles-related traumatic event.

The consultation document, available at http://www.hscboard.hscni.net/get-involved/consultations sets out the detail of how and why the Regional Trauma Network is being developed and how it will operate within your local Health and Social Care Trust area.
