Four Parent Morning sessions were delivered to parents of children aged 0-8 in Ballyclare Community Concerns. Sessions covered topics including Paediatric First Aid, Mental Health, Behaviour Management and Time Out for Me. A crèche was also provided throughout the programme.

Parents, grandparents, carers, children and young people enjoyed a fun filled information morning at Ballyclare Community Concerns this week.
The fun and facts day, organised by the CYPSP Ballyclare and Rural Newtownabby Locality Planning Group, aimed to provide local people with information about the support services available in the area from voluntary, community and statutory organisations for children, young people and families.

Young people celebrated at CMeB+ (See Me Be Positive) Youth Awards
Inspirational young people from Ballyclare and Rural Newtownabbey were commended for their achievements on 26 June 2013 at the first CMEB+ (See Me Be Positive) Youth Awards at Mossley Mill. Alderman Fraser Agnew, Mayor of Newtownabbey Borough Council, who attended the awards night said: “We often hear about young people in a negative light, so it is great to see so many young people nominated because of the positive impact of their achievements”.
