Can we Give you a helping hand?                       

Why? Because parenting is the most important job in the world and yet can be so challenging!

We aim to relieve poverty, redistribute quality resources and reduce parental stress and improve the lives of children under 5.

How ? Collecting and gifting baby essentials  for children under 5. 

Every Thursday we open for two sessions: 10am -12pm & 1pm -3pm in our unit in the Castle Mall Shopping Centre, 26 Market Square, Antrim BT41 4DN. Families are referred by Health Visitors and other professionals & organisations. Families can request support by calling in on a Thursday and we will be happy to chat about the support we can provide. To receive support, we ask you to fill in a short registration form to allow us to evaluate our service and secure funding.

What help can I receive?

Families can receive clothing for under 5s- which can be chosen by parents. Blankets, coats & shoes, prams, highchairs, baby baths, moses baskets, cots, walkers, toys and any other baby equipment we have in stock.

Families can receive 4 essentials bags full of nappies & toiletries for baby & mum within a 6-month period.

In the interest of fairness all goods given out are recorded as we seek to help as many families as we can.

Support will be refused if previous items supplied have been sold.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE FORMULA, FOOD, CAR SEATS & ELECTRICALS.

Can I give items back?  Yes, if they are in a condition, you would have been happy to receive them in.

Babies grow so rapidly that resources may remain in good condition, we gladly welcome these back to pass on to others.

We have a ‘Donations Drop Off ‘ opposite the baby bank that remains open for all donations during mall opening times and is watched by security staff.   

Can I have my items delivered?  No.

We are a voluntary project and do not have capacity for deliveries at this time. All items can be collected from the Baby Bank during our open sessions on Thursdays, volunteers are happy to help with trolleys when needed.  Items can be collected on behalf of a family if consent is sent by text to our Co-Ordinator. Items can only be left in storage for a max. of 3 weeks

Requests made by text, email, Facebook message will be processed on Tues. 9am -2pm , Thurs. 9am -330pm & Fri. 9am -12pm.
