BELONG Seminar Event ‘Cultural Understanding within Youth Work’

BELONG is hosting a seminar on the ‘Cultural Understanding within Youth Work’. The seminar is aimed at youth workers and community representatives who want to improve engagement with the Black Minority Ethnic (BME) community and increased participation within their local youth and community centre.

Key themes to be addressed:
Understanding the issues facing the BME communities
Approaching the challenges
Resourcing the need

The seminar aims to raise awareness and promote a better understanding of BME communities so that service providers can be more welcoming and inclusive towards BME children and families.
