The Stronger Together Network will be hosting a seminar on Thursday 26th November in Belfast focusing on the CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEWCOMER CHILDREN IN PRIMARY EDUCATION.The aim of this event is to raise awareness of the experiences of newcomer children and their families in Northern Ireland, to discuss the challenges and opportunities of learning and teaching in diverse classrooms and to celebrate and share good practice.The event will seek to explore issues surrounding the experience of newcomer pupils from the perspectives of the school, the family and initial teacher education.
