NICMA have developed new 3 hour refresher courses in both Health & Safety and Safeguarding which will be rolled out across all Trusts from January 2016 (see pages 4 & 5 of NICMA’s Training Bulletin attached).  As the Minimum Standards and Implementation Guidance do not state what the recommended course content should be and there is no recommendation/standardisation from the Trusts NICMA have ensured that the content of our courses is fit for purpose and meets the core training needs of all childminders.
