A new regional out of hours social work service will commence at 5pm on Wednesday 29 May 2013.
This service will be available to the population of Northern Ireland and will replace all existing local arrangements. This is an emergency service to be used only when you need a social worker urgently, after hours.
The RESWS will provide an emergency response across the five Health and Social Care trust areas in Northern Ireland on an out of hour’s basis i.e. from 5pm-9am weekdays and on a 24 hour basis at weekends and bank holidays.
