Family Fun Day on Friday 8th May 2015 at Clonoe Community Centre from 2pm – 5pm.  Face Painting – Dance Workshop – Arts & Crafts – Nail Painting and Mini Massage. Everyone is welcome to come along and refreshments will be available.

Tooth Fairy Shares Dental Tips in Rural Dungannon

The tooth fairy joined children, teachers, classroom assistants and parents to share dental tips and to highlight the importance of regular visits to the dentist at a dental information event held 9 May in Clogher Valley Community Centre.
Three dental students from Queen’s University, Belfast, were also on hand to give advice on preventing tooth decay, caring for teeth and gums, the importance of attending the dentist, the sugar content in certain foods and drinks, and ideas for healthy snacks. During the event children enjoyed a visit from Peppa Pig who promoted brushing teeth twice a day, as well as a puppet show, arts and crafts, and storytelling sessions aimed at helping children understand why they need to look after their teeth and gums……..

Rural Dungannon Family Fun & Information Day

Rural Dungannon Family Informationa Day

Over 200 local families across the rural Dungannon area attended a family fun and information day in Fivemiletown College on 21 June 2013. The event highlighted the range of services available across the local area from statutory, voluntary and community organisations. Andrea Sawyers from Augher Primary School said; “Hosting this fair was an identified need in this rural area of Northern Ireland. It was a great opportunity for parents and carers to access information about various organisations and opportunities available to families in rural areas”.
