Fermanagh Parent’s Reference Group invited members of the Fermanagh Locality Planning Group and Fermanagh Early Intervention Family Support Hub to meet with parents and children at the Maguiresbridge Community Fun Day on Saturday 18th July. The children and young people were entertained by Olaf from Frozen and a range of games while parents found out about local support services.
Service stalls included, the CYPSP Locality Planning Group and Early Intervention Family Support Hub, The Family Fund, Action for Children and Parenting NI.
Many families with younger children at the event wanted to learn more about childcare in their local area and were signposted to the Northern Ireland Family Support Data Base www.familysupportni.gov.uk which holds up to date information on local child minders and after school clubs. Parents felt that this was a great resource to be able to search for provision within the local area
