Children in Northern Ireland launched our Annual Report and 5 Year Strategic Plan on Monday 24th November 2014. “Our vision is to make Northern Ireland a society where all children and young people are valued, treated fairly and are able to flourish. In the Strategic Plan we set out the priorities that will guide us over the next five years as we seek to make our vision a reality for all children and young people”.

Following on from a very successful and positively evaluated Pilot Programme in early 2013, Children in Northern Ireland are delighted to present this second phase programme of training workshops to enhance the childcare provision for children with disabilities.  This programme has been funded and supported by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) through the NI Executives Childcare Fund and its overarching aim is to increase the number of people equipped with the relevant skills and confidence to help care for a child with a disability……
