Listen up Speak up is an NSPCC campaign aimed at empowering people to know what to do if they’re ever worried about a child or family.

NSPCC are offering free face-to-face and virtual workshops to community groups, businesses, schools, and any organisations wanting to learn how we can all keep children safe.

Translink- Tap to Travel Pupils Pass to take Effect for New Term

As pupils prepare to return to school for a new term, Translink and the Education Authority are reminding pupils, parents and schools that new ‘tap to travel’ bus and rail smartcards will be issued for eligible school pupils and further education students. Read more

Nutrition Matters for the Early Years Training

What children eat now will affect their current and future health and wellbeing – let’s help them get off to the best start by providing healthy and nutritious meals when in the child care setting!

Nutrition Matters for the early years training gives childminders, nursery and crèche staff/volunteers and foster carers the knowledge and skills to plan nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for children aged 0-5 years.  You’ll also get tips and ideas on how to support fussy eaters.

This 2 hour online training is FREE and delivered by experienced Public Health Dietitians and Registered Nutritionists.  It is funded by the Public Health Agency.

SEND Transformation Communications and Engagement Update

At our recent meeting, we advised of our upcoming engagement plans with schools and parent and carers.  We began promotion of our parent and carer events (taking place 25th & 27th June) last night on our social media platforms.  We will also be promoting through our other governance groups, schools, and internal news channels today and next week.
