Your Health Event in collaboration between Glaucoma UK, Bomoko NI and the Stronger Together Network

A Health & Wellbeing event called Your Health is taking place in collaboration between Glaucoma UK, Bomoko NI and the Stronger Together Network on Wednesday 15 October 2025 10-2pm at Lorag 97 Balfour Avenue Belfast BT7 2EW.  

 

The Your Health event will bring together a range of organisations that specialise in health and wellbeing, particularly health conditions to which people from African & Caribbean heritage are at greater risk of. It is hoped that through this event it will help to demystify health issues, raise awareness and promote health education within the community.

3rd September saw the Baton of Hope event held across Newry, Mourne and Down and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Council areas.  We were fortunate to meet and chat with a lot of people and welcome them to this their first taste of ‘FYI’!

Another bumper edition with amazing opportunities, resources and events, most for free too!

Are you a parent/ carer of a child with ADHD or do you wonder if your child may have ADHD? Come along to this free talk by Consultant Paediatrician, Dr Matthew McConkey

The event features a talk by Consultant Paediatrician Dr. Matthew McConkey, covering ADHD symptoms, assessment, support strategies, and available resources. It takes place on Friday 26 September 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Robert Andrews Church Hall, Donaghadee. Complimentary tea/coffee and health and wellbeing information stands will be available. Booking is required via collette.watt@setrust.hscni.net
