Congratulations to Chelsea for receiving The Diana Award
As a young person with autism, 16 year old Chelsea decided that more needed to be done to support other autistic individuals and created a sensory room in her school in Belfast. With Chelsea’s ideas and insight, she also reshaped our ‘Girls and Autism Friendship Club’, providing girls with autism in the community with a place to socialise in a supportive environment. Autism NI are very proud of Chelsea’s achievements – she is an inspiration.
