The government has today agreed to allow some vulnerable children aged 12-15 to get a Covid vaccine — much to the relief of thousands of worried UK families. It is now vital that this roll-out is done as swiftly as possible.

Do I need to keep my child off?
Do you have a child who’s unwell and are wondering if they should be in nursery or attending a summer scheme?
Check out our handy guide below to find out when they should stay off, and when they can go back.
Symptoms and severity of illness will vary from person to person. If your child is unwell and you have concerns about their symptoms you should speak to your GP.
If you are pregnant and have been exposed to any of these illnesses you should seek prompt advice from your antenatal carer.
