Two of the Take 5 themes on Page 6 are to Connect and Be Active, so we are inviting all services and organisations who are planning summer activities for children and young people, to forward any relevant information to us for inclusion in future editions of FYI.

Southern Area Locality Planning Groups FYI – 1st April 2021

Welcome to the 56th edition of our information bulletin, FYI (For Your Information).

Issue 56 – 1st April 2021

Over a year since our first Covid-19 lockdown and we have endeavoured during this time to inform on services, activities and information available that may improve outcomes for children and young people in the Southern area.

Our next edition will be on Thursday 15th April. Please submit relevant information to us by 13th April, with some guidance notes included on the last slide. You will also find dates for our forthcoming Locality Planning Group meetings which are open to those working or volunteering with children, young people or family support services.

SUSE+ Vision ’21

SUSE+ are running Vision ’21 starting in April 2021. This workshop is designed to help provide some direction and guidance on planning for your future and will include:

  • Positive Self-Talk
  • Mental Cleaning
  • Identifying and Overcoming Barriers
  • Vision Boards
  • Goal Setting
  • Action Planning
  • Celebrating Achievements 

This workshop is ideal for anyone who is feeling lost, confused, or indecisive about their future. Anyone who has found themselves unemployed, considering a career change or who just feels like they need a little extra support to help them on their journey.
