Save the Date: Toxic Childhood Conference – 20 October 2016

Toxic Childhood Conference has arose from the worrying emerging needs that have been discussed as a common theme across five of the Southern Area Locality planning meetings over the last year;  how children and parents are addicted to modern day technology/unhealthy food, the affects these have on both the child and the parent; parent child relationship, children’s behaviour, schooling, reaching their relevant milestones, dental treatment required and the modern day to day family life.  The following guest speakers have been confirmed to speak at the conference; Dr.Arthur Cassidy (Psychologist- Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Programme from Portadown),  Dr.Glenda Walsh (Stranmillis College- Principal Lecturer in Education of Early Years) and Bridin McKenna –(Psychotherapist- Life Therapist clinic).
