Save the Date: Western Outcomes Group Engagement Events

The Western Outcomes Group invites you to attend the launch of their Western Area Children and Young People’s Action Plan (2017-2020). This three year plan will encompass three core obsessions that the outcomes group wish to share and embed across all children and young people’s agencies working in the western outcomes area:

  1. Every Child has the best start in life
  2. Promote the safety of Our Children and Young People
  3. Work together to include the voice of Children and Young People

The series of engagement events will take place between February and March 2017.

Western Area – Guide to local Drug and Alcohol Services

 

The Western Drug and Alcohol Coordination Team (DACT) have  recently published the local guide of Drug and Alcohol Services in the Western Outcomes Area. This guide provides a range of interventions to agencies, families and individuals that will offer the right support for individuals in local communities to address alcohol or drug related harm. Services available include: services for adults, services for young people and support for family members who have been affected by someone’s alcohol or drug use.

Register for the CYPSP L/Derry Stakeholder event

February 2014

You have been invited to attend a workshop that will gather information about what we need to do to improve outcomes children and young people in the L/Derry area. This stakeholder event will be joined by key note speaker Harry Shier, founder of PLAY.TRAIN (1986) & author of the Pathway to Participation Model (2001).

Harry’s presentation will address ‘effective participation’ with children and young people and he will also facilitate a workshop with young people in the afternoon to elicit their thoughts and views on participation and how they can become more involved in the CYPSP process.
