Parenting NI Children’s Emotional Health Workshops

Parenting NI are holding 2 hour FREE parenting workshops on Children’s Emotional Health (5-10 years and 10-15 years) on Wednesday 5th February 2020 in the Jethro Centre, Lurgan. This workshop encourages parents of children to recognise the importance of their children’s mental health, exploring how parents can provide opportunities for children’s emotional development. Engaging Effectively With Parents Training – November 2019

Parenting NI are offering Practitioner Training.

The training aims to build capacity and further enhance existing skills of practitioners to equip them with the skills to support parents and families.

Topics include: – 

  • Importance of involving parents
  • Benefits of parental participation
  • Model of best practice  
  • Barriers/Challenges
  • Peer Learning

Parenting Week 21-25 October 2019

Parenting NI is excited to be reaching the milestone of its 40th Birthday. The charity will be marking the anniversary during their annual Parenting Week 21-25 October which this year will be focusing on Celebrating Parents and the amazing job they do every day!

Parenting NI are encouraging as many parents, organisations, community groups and schools to get involved as possible by hosting events or doing some of the activities in the Parenting NI pack which can be downloaded from their website.
