The World Health Organisation defines self-care as “the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and to cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a healthcare provider”.

It is important to look after health & wellbeing all year round. Your future self will thank you for it  Here are some self care ideas from our Protect Life service:

Have a relaxing bubble bath

Get outdoors – walking is just as good an exercise as any other

Read a book

Practice positive self- talk

Drink more water
