In our last edition of ‘FYI’ for 2025, we would like to wish you greetings for the festive season.

It has been another challenging year for families and supporting services, but we still need to highlight and promote the work carrying on from all sectors in the Southern Area and across Northern Ireland. They continue to be more vital than ever!

In our penultimate ‘FYI’ of 2025 we have pulled together a massive amount of information an opportunities for children, young people, parents and practitioners. Please share with all relevant contacts.

 The next page sees our Annual Survey to agree on the formats of our Locality Planning Group meetings for next year. If you attend, or intend to do so, please take 5 minutes to give us your thoughts on how the meetings should be run – Your feedback is always appreciated. In our next edition, we will have all dates and formats of our 6 LPG meetings for 2026.

With the half-term breaking coming up, the next edition of ‘FYI’ will be circulated in three weeks’ time, on Thursday 6th November. (We’ll send out a reminder closer to the time!).

In the meantime, Monday 20th October sees the start of Parenting Week and so, in this edition, we have included a wide range of support and opportunities for parents & carers, and encourage as many people to avail of these resources as possible.

As always, keep sharing ‘FYI’ with your families and colleagues and feel free to send us any flyers or information to share with close to 600 contacts who regularly receive this newsletter.
