Useful links for Safer Internet Day

This Safer Internet Day 2023, we invite you to check out our interactive resource, containing useful links for parents/carers and those who work with children & young people.

If you click on the logos included in the pdf, you will be taken straight through to the corresponding websites / webpages containing information & resources focusing on keeping children and young people safer online.

The weblinks collated are only a sample of the plethora of online internet safety information currently available in the public domain. We simply aim to raise awareness of key sources and further reading for yourselves and the children, young people and families with whom you work.

Please also share with colleagues, family members and friends, if relevant.

This year’s Children’s Mental Health Week runs from 6th-12th February, with the theme being “Let’s Connect”. It made sense, therefore, for us to produce this special edition of ‘FYI’ into one raising awareness of support, services, resources and opportunities around the theme of mental health and emotional wellbeing. This, of course, is not the exhaustive list of support available, but we are very thankful to our colleagues who have submitted a plethora of information to share across our 900 contacts who receive ‘FYI’.

Tuesday 7th February is also Safer Internet Day so we have included a great resource which we produced on Page 35 to signpost to key links to ensure you can keep children safer in a digital world.

We hope you get something from this edition to use or to share with families and colleagues. Your feedback is always welcome!
