On World Mental Health Day 2020 the Southern Area Locality Planning Groups are delighted to launch a new Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Resource for Children and Young People. The aim of the resource is to provide information on local programmes and services for children and young people which will benefit their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our member organisations who have continued to provide programmes, activities, workshops and webinars to support children, young people and their families across the SHSCT area, particularly during what has been a different ‘back to school’ period for us all.
As we continue to meet our LPG members virtually, it has been so uplifting to hear about the ongoing support which is being made available to children, young people and their families living across the Southern Trust area, particularly during these difficult times.
